If you live and breathe social, love crafting compelling posts, have an aesthetic eye for detail and know how to spark conversations, we want to hear from you! This is a senior position with a minimum requirement of at least 3 years in a similar role.

Key responsibilities:

  • Content Creation and Curation:

    • Align content with brand guidelines, marketing campaigns, and target audience preferences.

    • Curate user-generated content and relevant external content where appropriate.

    • Write compelling copy with strong calls-to-action, optimised for each platform.

  • Social Media Management & Publishing:

    • Schedule and publish content across all designated social media channels using scheduling tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite).

    • Monitor social media channels daily for mentions, comments, messages, and trending topics.

    • Ensure consistent brand voice and visual identity across all platforms.

    • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices.

  • Community Management & Engagement:

    • Actively engage with followers, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

    • Foster positive online communities and build relationships with the audience.

    • Identify and engage with influencers, brand advocates, and relevant online communities.

    • Monitor and address customer service inquiries received via social media, escalating complex issues to the appropriate department.

  • Analytics, Reporting & Optimisation:

    • Track and analyse social media performance using platform insights and analytics tools (e.g., engagement rate, reach, impressions, follower growth, click-through rates).

    • Generate regular reports on social media performance, highlighting key insights, successes, and areas for improvement.

    • Use data to inform future content strategy, posting times, and campaign optimisation.

    • Conduct competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of trends.

  • Campaign Support & Promotion:

    • Support the execution of social media marketing campaigns, including paid social advertising initiatives.

    • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure social media efforts align with broader business objectives.

    • Assist in setting up and monitoring social media ads, if applicable (often working with a specialist).

  • Brand Monitoring & Reputation Management:

    • Monitor brand mentions, hashtags, and keywords across social media to track public perception.

    • Identify potential brand risks or crises and escalate to management as necessary.

    • Assist in managing and responding to negative feedback or online reviews professionally.

  • Strategy & Planning Contribution:

    • Contribute ideas for social media strategy development, new content initiatives, and engagement tactics.

    • Assist in developing and maintaining a social media content calendar.

  • Staying Current with Trends & Regulations:

    • Understand and comply with Australian advertising standards (e.g., ACCC guidelines, ad disclosure requirements).

    • Be aware of Australian cultural nuances and trending topics relevant to the brand's audience.
