Brooki Fortitude Valley

The original. Brooke opened Brooki here in May 2022 in a 41 square metre kitchen on Marshall Street, and it is still where every recipe starts. It is the smallest store we have, it keeps the shortest hours, and it sells out most days — which is either part of the charm or deeply annoying depending on what time you arrive.

What you'll find here

The full chunky cookie range baked through the day, brownies, cupcakes, and our celebration cakes — vintage heart cakes, vintage round cakes, mini bento cakes and naked cakes. Merch and the Bake with Brooki cookbook are on the shelf too.

Cakes are made to order, so those need to be booked in ahead rather than grabbed on the day.

Good to know

Weekend mornings are our busiest time anywhere in the country, and this store is the smallest. If you would rather not queue, come on a weekday or later in the morning — though later also means a smaller selection, because we bake until we run out rather than baking to a number.

Order ahead for pickup

Order through the pickup collection and choose Fortitude Valley at checkout, and it will be boxed and waiting. Cakes, cupcakes and logo cupcakes are all collected from here.
