Sydney, we're open. Brooki Barangaroo opened on Friday 14 August, and it is our Sydney flagship — the biggest store we have built, on the water at Barangaroo.
Four years ago Brooki was a 41 square metre kitchen on Marshall Street in Brisbane. Standing in a flagship on Sydney Harbour is not something we had a plan for. It happened because people kept turning up.

Open every day, 10:00am to 10:00pm.
We are a few minutes' walk from Wynyard, and right on the harbour foreshore — which makes this the first Brooki you can take your box outside and eat by the water.
What's in store
The full cookie range, baked through the day rather than all in one go, so a 7pm cookie is not a 7am cookie. Plus brownies, cupcakes and cakes.
Barangaroo is also set up for pickup orders — order through the PICK UP tab in our online store and collect in store, which is the fastest way to skip a queue on a busy weekend.
The night before
The evening before we opened, we hosted a Close Friends event with Instagram — a room full of people who have supported Brooki since the Marshall Street days. Steph de Sousa, Lily Bowerman and Doughnut Daddy were all there. It was the right way to start.
Opening day
Thank you to everyone who lined up. Some of you were there before we were, which is both flattering and slightly alarming. Thank you also to our Sydney team, who opened a flagship in a week where we opened three stores.
A few things worth knowing
- No booking needed. Walk in, seven days. Weekend afternoons are busiest.
- Pickup orders can be collected here — place them through the PICK UP tab in our online store.
- Allergens. Our kitchens handle wheat, gluten, eggs, dairy, soy, tree nuts and peanuts. We can't guarantee any product is free from any allergen — see our allergen matrix.
What's next
Barangaroo was the second of three openings in a fortnight. Chapel Street in Melbourne came first on 7 August, and Sydney Airport Terminal 1 opens on 21 August — so if you are flying out of Sydney International, there will shortly be a Brooki between you and your gate.
